On a golden fall afternoon at Reading Farms Estate, Kristen & Navid celebrated a love story that has always felt natural, grounded, and quietly extraordinary.
Introduced years earlier by two close friends, now their officiant and best man. Their story began at Lamplighter Brewery’s weekly trivia night, followed by a first date in the same spot that flowed effortlessly into friendship, laughter, and something deeper. There was never one defining moment when they knew they had found “the one,” but rather a steady, easy certainty that grew through time, especially during three years of long distance throughout Covid, when choosing each other remained the simplest decision. Navid proposed at Lonesome Lake in the White Mountains after wind forced him to abandon the mountaintop plan, creating a beautifully intimate moment that felt perfectly them. Kristen and Navid’s wedding theme was shaped by their love of being outdoors; skiing, hiking, climbing, and slow mornings watching Premier League soccer.
Choosing a venue that could create a truly unique and personalized experience was essential. Reading Farms Estate, with its breathtaking grounds and private estate setting, offered exactly that. The talented team at the estate made planning easy and smooth, guiding them every step of the way while bringing their vision to life with effortless and natural precision.
Their ceremony took place in the breathtaking maple tree alley at Reading Farms Estate, transformed into a radiant, sun inspired sanctuary, with a grounded floral arch representing the sun and bursting with ranunculus, sunflowers, gladiolus, anemones, garden roses, marigolds, and ferns, while filtered sunlight streamed through the maples, illuminating their vows in the soft glow of early fall... a perfect reflection of their cosy, adventurous, laid back bond. Guests enjoyed a private estate experience with cocktail hour on the front lawn of the main house, surrounded by friends and family most important to the couple, before moving into a reception under a beautifully draped tent with live tree installations. On Thyme Events orchestrated every detail, pairing luxury dining by Boom & Bloom with a modern, elevated menu featuring filet mignon and miso cod, and surrounding guests with lavish wedding florals that reflected the warmth of the season.
The evening flowed into dancing, highlighted by a deeply personal first dance to “Can I Call You Rose?” by Thee Sacred Souls, a band the couple both love and recently saw in concert together. Kristen and Navid’s wedding was not only a celebration of their love but also a testament to resilience, companionship, and the beauty of choosing each other every day, all within the unmatched elegance and intimacy of a private estate wedding at Reading Farms.
