Chef Richard Van De Boom,
A seasoned culinary artist whose career spans continents, cultures, and over two decades of professional excellence. A graduate of the University of North Texas, he began with a strong foundation in hospitality before briefly exploring a successful modeling career. His true culinary awakening came in Europe, where he immersed himself in diverse food traditions and refined his palate.
Back in Dallas, Richard trained under Chef Aver Samuel at The Joint on Turtle Creek before launching his own culinary venture inspired by his European experiences. His journey later took him to Miami, where he collaborated with celebrated chefs and expanded his culinary repertoire.
In 2000, Richard became the private chef for the Gallowhur family and Reading Farms Estate, an iconic role that has defined much of his career. For more than 20 years, he has cooked for distinguished guests across Vermont, Spain, Santa Barbara, Miami, and beyond.
Known for his masterful use of spices and his ability to craft deeply flavorful, memorable dishes, Chef Richard brings artistry, versatility, and passion to every kitchen he touches. His global experiences and lifelong dedication to gastronomy have made him a revered figure in the culinary world.

Originally from Mexico, discovered his love for design as a child while helping his grandmother in her flower shop. Surrounded by color, texture, and creativity, he learned that flowers could tell stories and subtly transform someone's mood, adding emotion and meaning.
With over 15 years in the hospitality industry and multidisciplinary, firsthand experience in design, catering, planning, coordination, and décor. Arturo has refined his eye for detail and developed a deep understanding of how to craft experiences that leave a lasting impression.
His work today reflects that same artistry, infused with his bold personality, love of fashion, and a deep appreciation for beauty in all its forms. Blending the luxurious lifestyle and modern edge of Miami Beach with the peaceful charm of Vermont’s countryside.
