Agatha and Bartek’s love story was never rushed; it unfolded in the gentle, intentional way that only true love ever does. They first met at a work conference, two Polish spirits crossing paths far from home. They danced, they laughed, and when Bartek invited Agatha for a seaside walk, she politely declined. Unwilling to let herself become a fleeting moment. But destiny has a patient way of circling back. Agatha reached out on LinkedIn with professional intentions, and Bartek, ever hopeful asked if they might turn a message into dinner. She agreed, with one rule: their conversation must be 70% in Polish.
It was the beginning of something real.
When they finally went on their first date, neither could fully recall what the other looked like, yet both felt an undeniable excitement. Agatha boldly asked Bartek to pick her up from the airport after a concert at Red Rocks. Sushi followed. Conversation flowed. Their laughter folded into one another’s until both knew this was different.
They fell quickly. Bartek invited Agatha home for Christmas within months. Agatha stepped decisively into this new chapter. Their connection was joyful, sensual, supportive, and grounded in constant communication. Two worlds became one by choice, not circumstance.
Their engagement became a love story in two parts... two proposals echoing the depth of their bond.
Agatha proposed first. They were walking alone on Chappaquiddick Island, the sea stretching out in every direction, when she picked up a shining rock, felt her heart leap, questioned herself, tossed the rock into the ocean, and then unable to deny what she knew, picked up another and asked him to join her in life. It was spontaneous, emotional, beautifully human.
Months later in Honolulu, Bartek created his own moment. While browsing a jewelry store filled with pearl oysters, Agatha pointed out a ring that resembled her engagement ring. He returned secretly that afternoon, bought it, and carried it with him through temples, hikes, volcanic sands, and street food. On their final evening, dressed a little “warmer” in nicer clothes, he brought her to Sunset Beach. The sky melted into shades of gold and rose as he knelt in the sand. She cried. She slipped and fell on her bum. He cried too. Then they heard applause from strangers watching from afar, one of whom photographed the entire moment. Their love needed no planning; it simply bloomed.
Now, they bring their story to Reading Farms Estate, a place that mirrors them. Grand yet intimate, full of history and warmth. Their wedding is a celebration infused with the richness of Polish tradition and the luxurious beauty crafted by On Thyme Events and Boom & Bloom.
The ceremony unfolds along the iconic Maple Tree Alley, a breathtaking corridor of towering trees. Sunlight dapples the path as guests take their seats facing a sculptural floral arch overflowing with white and soft blue hydrangea, cascading orchids, and elegant anthurium. The estate stands proudly behind them, draped in early autumn light, as they speak their vows surrounded by the quiet majesty of nature.
Cocktail hour begins at the Pavilion Barn, where a generous Vermont charcuterie board spans rustic wooden tables; artisan cheeses, cured meats, seasonal fruits, local honey, and breads presented with the welcoming warmth reminiscent of a Polish household.
Deep red apples, a nod to Polish orchards and the color of ancestral celebration, add a pop of meaning and beauty, harmonizing with their palette of burgundy, gold, and white. Gold, Agatha’s favorite shimmers throughout the décor like a soft echo of her radiant spirit.
As evening falls, the reception tent glows like a dream. Boom & Bloom transforms the space into an immersive floral wonderland. Towering trees with orchids installations rise inside the sailcloth tent, symbolizing growth, roots, and the life they are building together. Every table is adorned with lush florals, burgundy dahlias, white orchids, gold accents; elegant, abundant, and theatrical in the best way.
Under the canopy of flowers, lights, and laughter, the sounds of Polish tradition blend with modern celebration. It is here that the first Polish tradition is shared: bread and salt, symbolizing prosperity, protection, and the richness of life. Toasts ring out in both Polish and English. Guests dance with joyful exuberance, honoring the spirited nature of Polish weddings that famously last all night.
Every detail speaks to their story. Every moment feels intentional, genuine, and filled with warmth.
Every element from the hydrangea arch to the golden accents, from the bread and salt blessing to the orchard apples honors where they come from and where they are going.
Agatha and Bartek’s wedding at Reading Farms Estate becomes more than a celebration.
It becomes a reflection of who they are:
deeply connected, joyful, adventurous, rooted in culture, and beautifully in love.
Their story began by chance. It grew through choice. And on September 6, 2025, surrounded by nature, tradition, luxury, and all the people they adore, it becomes a legacy.
A love story worthy of Reading Farms. A love story worthy of them.
